You can drill a half inch hole to the inside of one of the corners to get a start and then use a hand drywall saw to cut the opening along the lines you traced from the template. Don't worry about too much about the edge as long as you stay close to the template line since the speaker frame will cover the edges. Before you put the speaker in place, connect and run the wires. Once the wires have been connected and tested, you can put the speakers in place and paint the covers if necessary. Warranties: Since in wall stereo speakers require more effort to install, it's a very good idea to make sure that you choose a good quality brand. Make sure replacement units are available and that match your original purchase. Since most installations are in houses, a lifetime warranty that you can transfer to the new owners would be good. |
